Guided Waterfowl Hunts in Northern Minnesota

Wings and walleyes Guide Service offers guided early, regular and late season guided waterfowl hunts. We work with Maxxed Out Guides to provide guided goose, duck, snow goose and speckle belly hunts September through April, hunting the early season in Northern MN and finish in the late season in the famed Lac qui parle refuge in western MN.

We scout extensively to give our clients the best opportunity for a great hunt each and every day.  While we can never know exactly geese and ducks will do, our professional waterfowl guides have spent thousands of days in field and are prepared for most any scenario. A typical goose hunt begins an hour before shooting time at a designated location. Hunters follow the guides to one of our select fields, where we proceed to set up full body Canada goose decoys. Layout blinds are provided when needed. Experience is not required.

SEASONS & LIMITS

Goose Season: September - Early January
Goose Limits: Early Season: 5/person, Regular - Late Season: 3/person

Duck Season: Late September - Early December
Duck Limits: 6/person

LOCATION

Wings and Walleyes is based out of Grand Rapids Minnesota, but are willing to travel to help make your guided trip the best yet. The list below is a few of the areas we frequent, but we are definitely not limited to. Our Guided early season goose hunts are conducted in Northern MN. We will likely be hunting near one of the following cities for these hunts:

Baudette, MN
Bemidji, MN
Grand Rapids, MN

As we follow the migration south in the fall we move our hunts to the famed Lac qui Parle Refuge. Located in Western MN just three hours west of Minneapolis/St Paul MN, Lac qui Parle is home to the largest population of migrating geese and ducks in the state of MN. These hunts will take place near one of the following cities:

Appleton, MN
Big Stone, MN
Dawson, MN
Lac qui Parle, MN
Madison, MN
